By accessing the Platform, by using the intermediary services (“Services”) or providing / making available information for use by us, you agree to the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy and you hereby consent to our collection, use and sharing of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or delete portions of the terms of this Privacy Policy, at our sole discretion, at any time. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy at any time, do not use the Platform.

This Privacy Policy is published in compliance with Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000; Regulation 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011 (the “SPI Rules”), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as applicable.

1. Introduction

Your use of the Platform is governed by this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. In addition, your usage of the Platform itself is governed by the Platform’s General Privacy Policy and General Terms of Use.

If you are registering an account or using the Platform on behalf of an individual other than yourself, you represent that you are authorised by such individual or organisation to accept this Privacy Policy on their behalf.

Any user can visit the Platform without revealing personally identifiable information. We track certain non-personally identifiable information for analytics and statistics. These details are essentially used to understand trends and provide better services.

We may track and process data about your use of our Platform and the services offered therein (“usage data”). The usage data may include your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of your service use. This usage data may be processed for the purposes of analysing the use of the Platform and the Services.

2. Summary

  1. The user / vendor whose personal and sensitive personal information is shared on or through the Platform shall remain the owner of such information and shall consent to the sharing of such information.
  2. In the event you avail services from or through us, we collect personal and other types of information from you for the purposes of doing business as well as providing our services.
  3. Such information may be held by us for the purposes specified at the time of collection of the information, and for the duration for which the services are to be rendered, subject to the terms herein.
  4. In the event we desire to have business relations with you in the future, we may retain your communication and other details, so we may contact you about our services.
  5. We use processes, systems and good practices (to the extent commercially reasonable) to protect the information you provide or make available to us.
  6. We use cookies on our Platform to see how people use the website and to keep a record of whether you accept cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control them.
  7. If you have any comments, questions or concerns about this policy or how we store, process and use data, please reach out to the Grievance Officer at grievance@archiipedia.com.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information saved by the browser. It is possible for you to set your browser to notify you whenever a cookie is sent to you, giving you the option to decide whether or not to accept it. Some of the web pages on our website may use cookies to serve you customised content for your return visits. Cookies also help us in authentication, enhancement of security, displaying targeted advertising, and most importantly, help us in future enhancements on the website and platform.

For the full list of cookies we use, the categories they fall into, and controls to opt in or out, please see our Cookie Policy.

4. Web Beacons

In limited circumstances we also may use “web beacons” to collect anonymous, non-personal information about your use of our Platform and the sites of selected sponsors and advertisers, and your use of emails, special promotions or newsletters we send to you.

Web beacons are tiny graphic image files embedded in a web page or email that provide a presence on the web page or email and send back to their home server information from the user’s browser. The information collected by web beacons allows us to statistically monitor how many people are using the Platform and selected sponsors and advertisers’ sites, or opening our emails, and for what purposes.

5. Website Analytics

We may use third-party website analytics services in connection with the Platform. These analytics services do not collect personal information that you do not voluntarily enter into the Platform. They do not track your browsing habits across websites which do not use their services. We use the information collected from these services to find usability problems and make the Platform easier to use. The recordings will never identify you or your account.

6. Personal Information

In order for you to access the Platform and / or the Services, you will be required to provide us with certain information that personally identifies the person such information belongs to (“Personal Information”).

Personal Information includes the following categories of information:

7. Data Processing

We may process your information included in your profile on the Platform, including the Personal Information. This data along with any other electronic record generated is held by the Company in trust, on your behalf, for the duration of your usage of the Services.

We may process data about your use of our Platform and the services offered therein. The usage data may include your internet protocol address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of your use. The source of the usage data is Google Analytics, a widely used analytics platform.

We may also process information contained in any enquiry you submit to us regarding Services or contained in or relating to any communication that you send to us pertaining to the Platform. The correspondence data may include the communication content and metadata associated with the communication.

We may process any of your data identified in the other provisions of this policy, where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure. We may also process any of your personal data where such processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

8. Controlling Your Personal Information

As a registered user / vendor of the Platform, you have the right to have any inaccurate personal or registration data about you rectified, and to have incomplete data about you completed.

You can view your Personal Information in your account at any time and update it as necessary using your phone-based OTP login. Once we are informed, we will adjust incorrect data accordingly.

In the event you desire to withdraw consent to our processing of your information, kindly contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@archiipedia.com and we will cease to process the information unless we have legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Further, upon your request, the Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete your account from the Platform and the information in your profile relating to the Platform. However, it may be impossible to remove your account without some residual information being retained by the Company for legal or audit purposes.

Information about our users may be disclosed and otherwise transferred to an acquirer, successor or assignee as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of assets or similar transaction.

11. Data Security

The security of your information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. When you provide sensitive information on our Platform, we encrypt that information using HTTPS / TLS.

Although we make good-faith efforts to store Personal Information in a secure operating environment that is not open to the public, there is no such thing as complete security, and we do not guarantee that there will be no unintended disclosures of your Personal Information.

If we become aware that your Personal Information has been disclosed in a manner not in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of the nature and extent of the disclosure as soon as reasonably possible and as permitted by law.

The simplest way to exercise any of these rights is our Data & Privacy Request form. You may also email our Grievance Officer at grievance@archiipedia.com. We will verify your identity, act on your request free of charge for reasonable requests, and respond within the timelines required by applicable law and in any event within 30 days.

14. Children’s Personal Data

The Platform is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect or process the personal data of children — defined as individuals under 18 years of age under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and under the applicable age of digital consent under the GDPR.

In line with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, we do not undertake any processing of personal data that is likely to cause a detrimental effect on the well-being of a child, we do not track or carry out behavioural monitoring of children, and we do not direct targeted advertising at children. Processing of a child’s personal data, where it occurs, is undertaken only with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian.
